"There is a long way for Bozja to go, my friend. The path is shorter if we choose trust over suspicion."

Before the Bozja incident, there was a small queendom, hidden in the mountains of Bozja, far from the capital, but close enough to see the signs. This Queendom was under the custody of Vesta, Queen of the Reach. It should come to pass that during her years-long reign, she would have but one daughter. Her name is lost to time.

The daughter, heir to the throne in the reach, was spirited to Sharlayan, far from Bozja and from war. While it broke the hearts of their clan to see their only heir taken to a foreign land to be raised with foreign values, they ultimately knew that there was no safer place. Sharlayan rested beyond the reach of the empire. There, the heir could remain, and study, and grow into the leader they would one day need to be.

Peace always has a way of revealing the truth. When the child's sponsors took the child in, the child couldn't help but to show them the son in his eyes. No more was he a daughter of The Reach. He was a rising King. He forged his own name from the pages of history. Branithgar. Shield of the realm.

Branithgar remained in Sharlayan until the Final Days. He was a recognized scholar in the Studium. His passion project was always biomancy, and he took to sculpting his own body as clay. Before his Archon thesis could be tested, his mother's advisor contacted him. War was over. It was time to come home.

Hrothgar are not given to abandoning their families, and while Branithgar was much changed from who he left as. No longer a demure child in his mother's shadow, he was a man in his own right. Rather than mourn the death of a man still living, the kinship group has raised Branithgar up as their King until such a time as he has a daughter of age.

Recruiting Hrothgar

Branithgar has begun recruiting Eorzean Lost, as well as Bozjan refugees to rebuild his mother's Kinship group. He has proven an effective and judicious leader, if something of an optimist.

A King?

Branithgar carries the title well, but it is easy to see how declaring onesself a king could cause friction amidst the most traditional Hrothgar, and even the peerage of other locales who do not understand the political and familial structure of the Bozjan Hrothgar.

A Scholar.

Branithgar was a Sharlayan Scholar for all of his life. Until very recently, he ran a medicinal practice, focusing on family planning, and pediatric cate. Sharlayans could easily know him through his work, or through the reputation of his adoptive family.

Hello there!
Hopefully the sharp contrast of this white box will bring attention to the following information: I am not Branithgar. I am his player! We do not share every opinion. I favor OOC communication, conversations about expectations, and have less than no patience for intentional malice. If we have an OOC conflict, please address it with me privately.
